Tender Detail View

Opening a tender shows a single-scroll, terminal-style "raw tender" page: everything the source published, plus Cothon's added context, laid out as a sequence of blocks. There are no tabs — scroll to see it all.

Header and Key Stats

The top of the page shows the tender's title, source, status, and a stat row including closing date and document count.

Estimated Value

The value stat shows one of two things:

• Disclosed value — when the source published a contract value.
• "est. $X–$Y · similar awards" — when no value was disclosed, Cothon shows a comparable-value band computed from historical award values in the tender's UNSPSC families (the middle range of comparable contract values), with the number of comparable awards it is based on. Bands only appear when enough comparable data clears the quality gate.

Content Blocks

Solicitation Summary

The full description of the tender as published, alongside key facts: solicitation number, method, region, language, UNSPSC codes, and duration where available.

Solicitation Documents

The attachments captured from the source, with links. Where a source gates downloads (some portals require logging in or solving a challenge on their own site), the document appears as a link back to the source rather than a stored file. If the scraper captured nothing, the block says so.

Buyer & Contact

The issuing organization and, when the source published one, the procurement contact with email and phone links. Sources that don't publish a contact show that explicitly.

Minimum Qualifications

Structured qualification criteria, for sources that provide them. Sources without structured criteria point you to the solicitation document — or to saving the tender so requirements can be extracted with AI.

Schedule

Known dates. Deeper schedule details (Q&A windows, bidder conferences, anticipated award dates) are extracted from the solicitation after you save the tender as an opportunity.

Semantic Profile

The AI-extracted primary asset, work phase, and semantic tags, with an extraction confidence percentage. See AI Semantic Profile.

Historical Awards

Past awarded contracts in the tender's UNSPSC families, with relevance labels and a summary of the vendors who win this kind of work. See Historical Awards.

Staffing Price Estimate (Beta)

For tenders that read as per-resource staffing requirements, an on-demand estimate of likely contract value from federal staffing rates (role × level × term), shown as a range. This is a beta feature and only applies to staffing-type tenders; others are reported as not estimable.

Plan Takers

Where the source publishes them (BC and Ontario portals), the list of companies that have downloaded the bid documents — the likely competitive field, live while the tender is open.

Bid Results

Where the source publishes them (BC and Ontario portals), the submitted bidders and their bid values after close — verified values straight from the source, sorted from lowest.

Source Coverage

A checklist of which fields the source actually provided for this tender (contact, documents, and so on), so you know what's missing because the source didn't publish it.

Saving From the Detail Page

The save action creates an opportunity from the tender and starts AI enrichment — requirement extraction, capability matching, and competitive context. From then on, the pursuit lives in Opportunities.

What the Page Doesn't Do

The detail page is deliberately a raw view: there are no tabs, no contact export, no amendment comparison, and no share/export actions. Deeper analysis happens after saving.
