Keyboard Shortcuts
The keyboard shortcuts available in Cothon
Cothon keeps its keyboard surface small and predictable. These are the shortcuts that exist:
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
Cmd/Ctrl + K | Open or close the command palette |
Esc | Close the command palette, dialogs, and overlays |
Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + D | Open the documentation search (inside the docs) |
Cmd applies on macOS, Ctrl on Windows and Linux.
The command palette
Cmd/Ctrl + K is the shortcut worth building into muscle memory. The palette navigates to every section of the app, opens global search, starts a bid document analysis, and finds opportunities by name — so one shortcut covers most of what dedicated shortcuts would do elsewhere.
Tip
Workflow: Cmd/Ctrl + K, type a few letters of the destination or opportunity, press Enter. Press Esc to dismiss.
Text editing
Standard system shortcuts (copy, paste, undo, select all) work as usual in text fields and the proposal editor — they come from your browser and operating system, not from Cothon.
