A
Amendment

Best and Final Offer (BAFO)
A request from the procuring agency for bidders to submit their best final pricing and terms, usually after initial evaluation.

Bid Analysis

The strategic decision whether to pursue an opportunity or pass.

BN (Business Number)
A 9-digit unique identifier assigned by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to businesses.
Context: Often required for government registration and contract award.

Boilerplate
Standard language that appears in most RFPs, such as general terms and conditions, submission instructions, and evaluation disclaimers.

Capability Matching

CBSA (Canada Border Services Agency)

Closing Date
The deadline by which proposals must be submitted.

Compliance

Contract Vehicle
The mechanism or framework through which a contract is awarded.

Cost Proposal
The pricing component of your bid, separate from the technical proposal.

Debriefing

Framework Agreement

Fully Meets
A capability match status indicating your capabilities completely satisfy the requirement.
