Browsing Tenders
The Opportunities page is your gateway to government procurement. Learn how to efficiently browse and find relevant tenders.
The Opportunities Interface
When you open Opportunities, you'll see:
- Filter Panel (left) - Narrow results by various criteria
- Opportunity List (center) - Browse matching opportunities
- Detail Panel (right) - View full details of selected opportunity
Opportunity Cards
Each opportunity card displays key information:

| Title | Official tender name |
| Department | Issuing government organization |
| Value | Estimated contract value (when available) |
| Closing Date | Submission deadline |
| Status | Open, Closing Soon, Closed, Awarded |
| Location | Geographic requirements |
| Category | Procurement classification |
Tip
Click any opportunity card to see full details in the right panel without leaving the list.
Sorting Options
Sort the opportunity list by:
- Relevance - Best match to your profile and past activity
- Closing Date - Soonest deadlines first
- Posted Date - Newest opportunities first
- Value - Highest value first
- Department - Alphabetically by issuing organization
Status Indicators
Opportunities show visual status indicators:
| Status | Indicator | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Open | Green badge | Accepting submissions |
| Closing Soon | Orange badge | Less than 7 days remaining |
| Closed | Gray badge | Submission deadline passed |
| Awarded | Blue badge | Contract has been awarded |
Warning
Pay attention to "Closing Soon" indicators. Allow time for analysis and proposal preparation.
Quick Actions
Hover over any opportunity to access quick actions:
- Star - Save to your list
- Analyze - Start bid analysis
- Share - Send to colleague
- Hide - Remove from your view
Viewing Full Details
Click an opportunity to see complete information:
Overview Tab
- Full description
- Key dates and deadlines
- Contact information
- Submission instructions
Documents Tab
- Attached RFP documents
- Amendments and addenda
- Supporting files
- Download options
Activity Tab
- Your team's interactions
- Related analyses
- Notes and comments
- Status history
Similar Tab
- Related opportunities
- Historical similar tenders
- Suggested opportunities
Pagination
The opportunity list loads results in pages:
- Default: 20 opportunities per page
- Use page controls at bottom to navigate
- Or enable infinite scroll in Settings
Refreshing Data
Opportunities update automatically, but you can:
- Click Refresh to check for new opportunities
- Pull down to refresh on mobile
- Last update time shown in the toolbar
Keyboard Navigation
Navigate efficiently with keyboard shortcuts:

List vs. Grid View
Toggle between display modes:
- List View - Compact, shows more opportunities
- Grid View - Cards with more detail visible
Click the view toggle in the toolbar to switch.
