Search past contract awards, see every bid where the source publishes it, and find similar awards.
Contracts and Search
The Contracts lens and the Analytics search show the awards themselves. Use them to answer "what was bought, from whom, and for how much?"
How to search for contracts
Search follows the jurisdiction and scope in the top bar. If you get no results, switch to All markets to search the whole source.
The same search box has Firms, Buyers and Categories tabs. See Firms and Vendor Profiles.
The Contracts lens
Click the Contracts lens to browse recent awards without searching.

Below the cards, Every award in scope lists the most recent awards.
Tip
Seeing the losing bids is how you learn what a buyer would have paid. SEAO (Quebec) and Ontario municipal portals publish them. CanadaBuys, BC Bid and Alberta publish the winner only.
The contract drawer
When you open a contract, the drawer has three tabs:
- Overview: buyer, winner, value, award date and category, plus similar awards.
- Bidders: every bid submitted on the notice, where the source publishes it. Otherwise it says only the winner is on record.
- Similar awards: past awards for similar work. They are matched on what was bought (asset, work phase, category and title words), not on the buyer. Hover a row to see Why it matched.

The full contract page
The full page has three tabs:

Tip
For a rebid, the total value after amendments is often a better guess at the real budget than the original award.
Category pages
From a category drawer, click open full page ↗ to see a category profile. It shows total contracts, market size, average deal size, active vendors, top vendors, top agencies and market trends. Click Find open tenders to jump to live tenders in that category.
