Dashboard Overview
Your pipeline, deadlines, win rate and market on one page, and how to fill each panel.
The Dashboard shows where your bids stand and what is happening in your market, on one page. Every number comes from your own workspace or from public award data. A panel with no data says so; it never shows sample figures.
Note
The Dashboard is shown in English only for now, including when the app is set to French.
The top of the page
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| FEDERAL / QUÉBEC | Picks the market data for the market panels: federal awards (CanadaBuys) or Quebec awards (SEAO). |
| OVERVIEW / BRIEFING / TERMINAL | Picks the layout. See Layout Presets. |
Cothon remembers both choices in this browser.
If you have not finished your setup checklist, its card appears here too. See Quick Wins.
The greeting
The greeting shows today's date and a one-line summary: your active pursuits, what they are worth, and how many close this month. Two buttons sit next to it:
- Run analysis opens Analytics.
- Find tenders opens Opportunities.
The daily brief
The DAILY BRIEF banner sums up your day in two or three sentences, built from your own numbers:
- How many opportunities close within 30 days, and which one is first.
- How many pursuits you have, what they are worth and your win rate.
- How complete your Company Profile is, and the next section to finish.
The five numbers
| Number | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Pipeline value | Total estimated value of your active opportunities (Identified, Evaluating, Bidding or Submitted). |
| Win rate | Bids won out of bids decided (won, lost or declined). A small arrow shows the change from last month, in points. |
| Active pursuits | Active opportunities, out of all the opportunities you track. |
| Closing ≤ 30 days | Opportunities that close in the next 30 days, and their total value. |
| Profile readiness | How complete your Company Profile is, and how many items are left. |
The panels
| Panel | What it shows | How to fill it |
|---|---|---|
| Upcoming deadlines | Your opportunities by closing date, with value, status and days left. Red means 7 days or less; amber means 21 days or less. Dates more than a year away are left out. | Track opportunities with closing dates. |
| Pipeline funnel | How many opportunities sit at each stage (Identified, Evaluating, Bidding, Submitted, Won) and their value. | Track opportunities and keep their status up to date. |
| Win / loss trend | Bids won and lost each month, for up to 12 months, with your win rate. | Record outcomes on your opportunities. |
| Capability match | Your win rate by category, split into STRENGTHS (50% or more) and GAPS, with an overall fit score. | Record outcomes on your opportunities. |
| Profile readiness | Your profile score and a checklist of sections still to finish. | Complete your Company Profile. |
| Market snapshot | Total award value and number of awards over 12 months, a trend line, and how much the top 3 suppliers hold (LOW, MODERATE or HIGH). It narrows to your industry when it can. | Choose your markets in your Company Profile. |
| Competitor share | Who wins in each industry you chose, ranked by award value. Your company is highlighted if it appears. Select a firm to open its Analytics page. | Choose your markets in your Company Profile. |
| Incumbents to watch | Contracts ending in the next 12 months: supplier, buyer, value and days left. These are likely to be tendered again. | Choose your markets to focus the list on your work. |
| Recent activity | New tenders, awards and amendments in your segments. | Belong to an organization. |
To record an outcome, open the opportunity and select Record outcome in its side panel.
