Fine-tune how Cothon's AI features work. Choose models, adjust behavior, and optimize for your use case.

Available Models
Cothon uses state-of-the-art AI models:

Selecting Default Model
- Go to Settings > AI > Models
- Choose your preferred default model
- Applied to all AI features unless overridden
Tip
Gemini 2.0 Flash offers the best balance of speed and quality for most tasks.
Feature-Specific Models
Override models for specific features:

Extraction Accuracy
Balance speed vs. accuracy:
- Fast - Quick results, may miss edge cases

Analysis Behavior
Strictness Level
How strictly the AI evaluates compliance:

Disable proactive suggestions if you prefer a quieter experience.

Limit simultaneous AI operations:

Monitor AI usage:
- Go to Settings > AI > Usage
- View:
- Operations this month
- Estimated cost
- Usage by feature
Budget Limits
Set monthly limits (organization admins):
- Go to Settings > Organization > AI Budget
- Set maximum monthly spend
- Get alerts at 80% and 100%
Warning
Reaching budget limits may temporarily disable some AI features.
Custom Instructions
Global Instructions
Add instructions applied to all AI operations:
Example:
- Always use Canadian English spelling
- Reference ISO 9001:2015 standards when relevant
- Avoid acronyms without definitions
Feature-Specific Instructions
Add instructions for specific features:
- Go to Settings > AI > Custom Instructions
- Select feature (extraction, proposals, etc.)
- Add your instructions
- Save changes
Testing Configuration
Preview Mode
Test AI settings before applying:
- Click Test Configuration
- Upload a sample document
- See results with new settings
- Apply or adjust
A/B Comparison
Compare different configurations:
- Enable A/B Mode
- Set two configurations
- Run same document through both
- Compare results side-by-side
Resetting AI Settings
Restore defaults:
- Go to Settings > AI
- Click Reset to Defaults
- Confirm reset
- All AI settings return to factory defaults
