Cothon turns the intelligence you have already built — the analyzed RFP, your company profile, and your past work — into a structured first draft of a professional proposal. You review it, edit it, export it to Word or PDF, and share it with your team.

The proposal lifecycle

1. Generate — start from an opportunity's workspace. Choose which sections to include and a writing tone, optionally answer gap questions, and let generation run in the background with live progress.
2. Review the structure — proposals are built from a catalog of 18 professional sections, from Executive Summary through Compliance Matrix to Conclusion.
3. Edit — open the proposal, check confidence scores and "needs review" flags, and edit any section's text inline.
4. Export — download as DOCX, PDF, or TXT, or copy the whole proposal to your clipboard.
5. Share — share with teammates or via a link, with view/comment/edit permissions and optional expiry.

What generation draws on

• The opportunity's analyzed documents — extracted requirements ground each section in what the RFP actually asks for.
• Your company profile — capabilities, certifications, and past performance provide the evidence.
• Your past proposals — optionally used as style and content references (see Templates).
• Gap answers — anything you supply during the gap-analysis step is woven into the relevant sections.

Where proposals live

Generated proposals are saved to the opportunity they were created from — open the opportunity's proposals list to find them. Each proposal opens in the viewer at its own page, where editing, exporting, and sharing all happen.
