Share analyses and proposals, discuss opportunities, and track team activity

Collaboration

Cothon includes a focused set of collaboration features for bid teams: secure sharing of analyses and proposals, threaded discussion on opportunities, personal notes and flags on requirements, and activity logs that show who did what.

What's available

Sharing

Share bid analyses and generated proposals two ways:

  • With teammates — grant a specific user in your organization view, comment, or edit access
  • With anyone via link — create a secure tokenized link, optionally expiring after 1, 7, or 30 days

Every access through a share link is logged with time, IP address, and browser, and you can revoke any share instantly. See Sharing.

Comments and notes

  • Opportunity comments — threaded discussions on each opportunity's page, visible to everyone with access
  • Requirement notes and flags — annotate individual requirements inside a bid analysis and flag the ones that need attention

See Comments & Notes.

Activity and audit logs

  • Opportunity activity — each opportunity keeps a timeline of changes: status and stage changes, documents and analyses added, comments, member and contact changes, and detected amendments
  • Share access logs — who opened your shared content and when
  • Organization audit log — an append-only record of security-relevant events, viewable and exportable by organization owners and admins

See Activity & Audit Logs.

Presence indicators

When you open a document view, Cothon shows who else from your team is looking at the same document right now, via a live presence indicator. This is awareness only — it tells you who's there so you can coordinate.

Note

Cothon does not offer simultaneous co-editing of the same document. If two people need to work on the same content, use sharing with edit permission and coordinate — the presence indicator helps you see when someone else is already in a document.

Roles and access

Collaboration features respect your organization's roles (owner, admin, member) and Cothon's row-level data isolation: teammates can only see and share content that belongs to organizations they are members of. Share links are the deliberate exception — anyone with the link (and before its expiry) can open the shared item at the permission level you chose.
