Organizations
The Organizations section in Settings is where you create and manage your organizations — the shared workspaces your team collaborates in. For the full guide to working in an organization, see the Organization documentation.
What You Can Do Here
Join and Create
- Create an organization with a name and optional description
- Accept invitations addressed to you (listed under My invitations)
- See your pending join requests and suggested organizations
Manage Members
Select one of your organizations to manage it (admin or owner required for most actions):
- Invite members by email with a role of Member or Admin — no existing account required
- Review and revoke pending invitations
- Change member roles or remove members
- Members list shows each person's profile, and Slack/Teams shortcuts when those integrations are connected
Organization Configuration (Admins)
- Domain settings — let colleagues with a matching email domain find and request to join your organization
- Join requests — approve or decline requests to join
- Vendor link — connect the organization to its vendor record for award-history intelligence
- Bidder-request email template — customize the email used when requesting to be added to a bidder list, with placeholders such as reference number and closing date
- Default dashboard — publish your current dashboard layout as the default for the organization
- Organization security, SSO, and audit log — additional admin-only panels
Ownership Actions
- Transfer ownership to another member (owners only)
- Leave an organization you are a member of
- Delete an organization (owners only) — you must type the organization's name to confirm
Warning
Deleting an organization is a destructive action. Cothon requires you to type the exact organization name before the deletion proceeds.
